You can reach Effeld via the A46 heading towards Heinsberg, which you leave at the Hückelhoven-West exit. From there, turn right to the right over the L117 towards Wassenberg / Roermond until you see signs for Effeld. |

Coming from Aachen:
Coming from the B57 to Alsdorf, take the direction towards "Heinsberg" via the B221 to Wassenberg. At the traffic lights turn left towards Roermond and follow the L117 until you see a sign for Effeld.

Coming from Roermond / NL:
You can reach Effeld by following the signs "Roerstreek" or "Herkenbosch" on the bypass of Roermond. At a roundabout, Wassenberg is also signposted. A while after crossing the border at Rothenbach you will see a see a signpost pointing to the right towards Effeld. |
